On January 13 of this year, a working meeting on pressing issues related to the prevention of terrorism and extremism was held at the Agency for State Procurement of Goods, Works and Services under the Government of the Republic of Tajikistan. The event was attended by the Agency’s management and staff, who exchanged views on ways to strengthen security and enhance civic responsibility.
During his speech, the Director of the Agency, Honorable Zuhurzoda S. Kh., noted that terrorism and extremism are among the most serious threats facing the modern world and can have a negative impact on peace, stability, and the development of society. Therefore, every employee of a government institution must perform their duties with a strong sense of responsibility, loyalty to the state, and respect for national values.
It was also emphasized that only through close cooperation among government institutions, responsible conduct by employees, and an active approach to security-related issues can any undesirable manifestations be prevented.
At the conclusion of the meeting, the participants expressed their readiness to contribute to protecting national interests, strengthening stability and peace, and preventing terrorism and extremism. It was emphasized that this area should always remain a key priority in their professional activities.
