Knowledge Day in Ayni District was celebrated with special grandeur and solemnity.
Every year on September 1, the Republic of Tajikistan observes Knowledge Day and the beginning of the new academic year with festive events.
On this important occasion, a ceremonial opening of the new school year was held at Secondary School No. 9, located in Takfon village, Anzob Jamoat, with the participation of the school leadership, teachers, students, and official guests.
The festive event began with the performance of the National Anthem of the Republic of Tajikistan, adding solemnity and a celebratory atmosphere to this significant educational occasion.
The ceremony was attended by the Head of Ayni District, Ravshan Rahimzoda, a representative of the Government of the Republic of Tajikistan — the Head of the State Service for Supervision of Industrial and Mining Safety under the Government of the Republic of Tajikistan, Rahim San’at Aso, representatives of local authorities, parents, and students.
During his speech, the Head of the District, Ravshan Rahimzoda, warmly congratulated the teachers of the district on the beginning of the new academic year and highlighted the wise policy of the country’s President, esteemed Emomali Rahmon, in supporting education and developing the intellectual potential of youth. He emphasized that, thanks to the constant support of the Head of State, educational institutions are now equipped with modern facilities, and teachers and students should use these opportunities effectively to enhance their knowledge.
In addition, representatives of the Government of the Republic of Tajikistan, Rahim San’at Aso and Umedzhon Safarzoda, on behalf of the Government and the Executive Authority of Sughd Region, congratulated teachers and students on the start of the new school year and wished them success in their studies and contributions to the development of the country.
The ceremony concluded with the ringing of the first school bell, symbolizing the official start of the 2025–2026 academic year.
During the classroom tour, the Head of the District and guests observed the learning environment, interacted with teachers and students, and wished them continued success in their educational and professional growth.
It is worth noting that Secondary School No. 9 in Takfon village has been fully renovated and modernized with the support of the Anzob Metallurgical Company and today stands as one of the exemplary and well-equipped schools in Ayni District.
