On July 8, 2026, the Crowne Plaza Hotel in Dushanbe will host a roundtable discussion titled: “Supplier and Export Development Program: A Tool for Integrating Tajikistan’s Small and Medium Enterprises into National and International Value Chains.”

The event is organized by the Ministry of Finance of the Republic of Tajikistan and the Agency for Export under the Government of the Republic of Tajikistan, in partnership with the World Bank Group.

The discussion will bring together members of the diplomatic corps, international development partners, heads of relevant government agencies, regional authorities, private sector representatives, and industry associations.

The main objective of the event is to discuss the practical launch mechanisms of the Supplier and Export Development Program. This program is implemented as the third component of the large-scale "Tajikistan Financial and Private Sector Development Project," funded by a grant from the International Development Association (World Bank Group).

Key discussion topics:

• Mechanisms to incorporate small and medium enterprises into the supply chains of major national and transnational corporations.
• State incentive programs and assistance measures for export-oriented small and medium enterprises.
• Target financing, training, international certification, and skill development for SMEs in agribusiness, the garment industry, and tourism.
• Promising avenues of cooperation between the government, the private sector, and international institutions.

The upcoming Supplier and Export Development Program will serve as a crucial practical tool for achieving the goals of the National Development Strategy of the Republic of Tajikistan for the period up to 2030 and the State Export Development Program of the Republic of Tajikistan for 2026–2030.
