Over the past week, dozens of tons of sweet and delicious grapes from Tajikistan have been exported to the city of Samara, Russian Federation. Grapes from Tajikistan are being exported to the Samara region at a high pace based on cooperation agreements. This was reported by an Amonat "Khovar" correspondent.
This initiative is being implemented under the State Strategy for the Development of Agricultural Product Exports and has created new income opportunities for farmers and domestic product processing enterprises.
Tajik grapes, known for their sweet taste and high quality, are in high demand not only within the country but also abroad. Officials have mentioned that cooperation with the markets of other Russian cities is also planned.
This measure contributes to increasing export volumes and greater representation of Tajik products in international markets, which may help secure a strong position in global markets.
The export volume from Tajikistan has increased compared to the same period in 2024, demonstrating the strengthening of trade cooperation and the growing presence of Tajik agricultural products in foreign markets.
The exported grapes are mainly harvested from vineyards in the Khatlon region and districts under the republic's jurisdiction, and then transported to Samara through specialized logistics companies. Before shipment, the grapes are stored in warehouses equipped with cooling systems and packaged according to international export standards.
The export of grapes is not only a source of income but also a proper way to introduce Tajik agricultural products and the hard work of the Tajik people to the world. It is expected that in the near future, the volume of grape exports will increase to other regions of the Russian Federation.
