On June 26, 2025, a cultural and entertainment event was held in Yovon District to mark the 28th anniversary of National Unity Day.

The event was attended by a representative of the Government of the Republic of Tajikistan, First Deputy Director of the Agency for export under the Government of the Republic of Tajikistan Khurshed Zuhurzoda, Chairman of Yovon District Ikromiddin Sirojiddin Valizoda, heads of law enforcement agencies, labor veterans, and district activists.
