On May 18, 2026, at Secondary School No. 8 of Shamsiddin Shohin District, the opening ceremony of the district stage of the republican competition “Furūghi Subhi Donoī Kitob Ast” was launched in accordance with the Order of the President of the Republic of Tajikistan dated January 1, 2026, No. AP-951, the resolution of the Chairman of Khatlon Region dated January 19, 2026, No. 14, and the resolution of the Chairman of Shamsiddin Shohin District dated January 26, 2026, No. 41.
The opening ceremony of the district stage of the republican competition “Furūghi Subhi Donoī Kitob Ast” was attended by the Deputy Chairman of the district, Jumazoda Shifo; the representative of the Department of Education of Khatlon Region in the Kulob zone, Rahimov Khairullo; the Deputy Director of the Khatlon Regional Institute in the Kulob zone, Madiev Naimjon; the Head of the Department of Social Development and Public Relations of the district chairman’s office, Rahmoniyon Faridun; the Head of the district education department, Davlatzoda Bahodur; and members of the district competition commission.
This competition is held with the aim of increasing interest in reading, strengthening intellectual capacity, discovering new eloquent and knowledgeable individuals, honoring national and cultural values, developing creative abilities, strengthening self-awareness and self-identity, improving vocabulary, and enriching the spiritual world of the country’s population.
To ensure a transparent competition process, the jury was selected from employees of executive state authorities, experienced teachers, and education specialists, who will assess the students’ knowledge, skills, and abilities based on the materials they have mastered.
During their speeches, the guests emphasized that the organizers and jury members must ensure the competition is conducted transparently and prevent any shortcomings or irregularities.
