On September 29, 2026, the seventh session of the Majlis of People's Deputies of Shamsiddin Shohin District, seventh convocation, was held in the hall of the Executive Body of State Power of Shamsiddin Shohin District.
The session was attended, in connection with the issues under consideration, by the First Deputy Chairman, deputy chairpersons and the Head of the Chairman's Office, heads of departments and sectors of the Chairman's Office and structural units of the Executive Body of State Power of the district, heads of law enforcement agencies, heads of district organizations and institutions, chairpersons of rural jamoats of the district, directors of educational institutions, imam-khatibs of central and five-time mosques, as well as invited heads of dehkan farms.
The session was also attended by a representative of the Executive Body of State Power of Khatlon Region, Farzona Qodirova, Acting Head of the Sector of the Department of Education of the Executive Body of State Power of Khatlon Region in the Kulob area.
Following the performance of the National Anthem and the approval of the session's rules of procedure, the session first heard a report by Bahodur Davlatzoda, Chairman of the District Election Commission, on the election of a deputy to the Majlis of People's Deputies of Shamsiddin Shohin District to replace the deputy who had left office in the Chashmai Nazar electoral district No. 13, as well as on the confirmation of the powers of the deputy of the Majlis of People's Deputies of Shamsiddin Shohin District.
Subsequently, Deputy Chairman of the district Shifo Jumazoda presented information on the implementation of Decision No. 704 of the Chairman of Shamsiddin Shohin District dated December 28, 2020, “On Decision No. 321 of the Chairman of Khatlon Region dated November 27, 2020, ‘On Decision No. 526 of the Government of the Republic of Tajikistan dated September 29, 2020, On the National Development Strategy of Education of the Republic of Tajikistan until 2030’” in the district.
Information was also presented by First Deputy Chairman of the district Jalolkhon Abdullozoda on the implementation of Decision No. 655 of the Chairman of Shamsiddin Shohin District dated December 6, 2024, “On Decision No. 265 of the Chairman of Khatlon Region dated November 27, 2024, ‘On the implementation of Decision No. 521 of the Government of the Republic of Tajikistan dated October 1, 2024, On the Programme for the Development of Horticulture, Viticulture and Citrus Farming in the Republic of Tajikistan for 2025–2029’” in the district.
In addition, a report of the Standing Commission of the Majlis of People's Deputies of Shamsiddin Shohin District on social issues, spirituality, culture and information was heard.
All scheduled issues were fully considered during the session. Following the discussions and taking into account the proposals and recommendations put forward by the speakers on the issues under consideration, the relevant decisions were adopted.
