On September 7, 2026, a military parade dedicated to the 35th anniversary of the State Independence of the Republic of Tajikistan was held on the main highway of Shamsiddin Shohin District.
The solemn event was attended by the Chairman of the district, Gulzoda Zafar Shamsuddin, representatives of the district leadership, law enforcement officers, security and military structures of the district, chairpersons of rural jamoats, representatives of organizations and institutions, enterprises and production facilities, as well as residents of the district. More than 1,200 people took part in the event.
The military parade began with the performance of the National Anthem of the Republic of Tajikistan. Personnel of law enforcement agencies, officers and soldiers of military structures, as well as other military units of the district, marched in military formation past the official reviewing stand.
Before the start of the parade, the Chairman of the district, respected Gulzoda Zafar Shamsuddin, delivered a speech in which he sincerely congratulated those present on the 35th anniversary of the State Independence of the Republic of Tajikistan. He noted that independence represents the greatest historical achievement of the Tajik people and serves as the fundamental basis for the progress and development of the state.
It was emphasized that, during the period of independence, Tajikistan, under the leadership of the Founder of Peace and National Unity — Leader of the Nation, President of the Republic of Tajikistan, respected Emomali Rahmon, entered a new stage of political, economic, social and cultural development, while construction, development and improvement projects across the country gained renewed momentum.
The Chairman of the district also emphasized that safeguarding state independence, strengthening peace, stability and national unity is a sacred duty of every citizen of the country. Therefore, every resident of Shamsiddin Shohin District should make a worthy contribution to the development of society, the improvement of their homeland and the strengthening of the foundations of national statehood.
