In order to implement the instructions and directives of the Founder of Peace and National Unity — Leader of the Nation, President of the Republic of Tajikistan, Honourable Emomali Rahmon, as well as the Chairman of Khatlon Region, Honourable Davlatali Said, aimed at improving the business and investment environment and strengthening its foundations in the district, a meeting of the Advisory Council under the Chairman of Shamsiddin Shohin District on improving the investment climate and developing entrepreneurship was held in the hall of the Executive Body of State Authority of the district.
The first meeting of the Council was held under the leadership of the Chairman of the district — Chairman of the Advisory Council, Gulzoda Zafar Shamsuddin, and with the participation of the representative of the Executive Body of State Authority of Khatlon Region, Davlatov Mahmadī. Members of the Council, heads of rural jamoats of the district, activists, heads of dehkan farms, and other individual entrepreneurs also took part in the meeting.
During the meeting, reports were presented on the implementation of the decisions of the previous Council meeting and their outcomes, the provision of benefits, support for the development of entrepreneurship, and the creation of a favorable investment climate in Shamsiddin Shohin District. Issues related to bank financing, including preferential loans intended for the development of the private sector, were also discussed. Attention was given to creating a healthy environment for business development and supporting dehkan farms, as well as to the development of the agricultural sector in mountainous areas through attracting foreign funding and introducing modern agricultural machinery and technologies.
In addition, speeches on the discussed issues and on the implementation of previous decisions and achieved results were delivered by the Secretary of the Council, Sadriddin Negmatov, the Head of the District Tax Inspectorate, Safaralizoda Kh., the Director of Branch No. 65 of “Amonatbank” in Shamsiddin Shohin District, Mahmadzoda Suhayli, and the Head of the Agriculture Department of the Executive Body of State Authority of the district, Eltanazarov J.
At the conclusion of the meeting, the Chairman of the district — Chairman of the Council, Gulzoda Zafar Shamsuddin, analyzed the above-mentioned issues and gave specific instructions to the responsible officials to address existing shortcomings, including the development of entrepreneurship, attraction of investments, support for entrepreneurs through easier access to concessional loans, and other important matters.
