On November 14, 2025, a ceremonial political event dedicated to the 33rd anniversary of the 16th Session of the Supreme Council of the Republic of Tajikistan and the Day of the President of the Republic of Tajikistan was held in the hall of the Shamsiddin Shohin District Palace of Culture. The event was attended by the district leadership, heads of law enforcement agencies, state bodies, and leaders of organizations and institutions of the district.
The event began with a visit to an exhibition of books by the Founder of Peace and National Unity — the Leader of the Nation, President of the Republic of Tajikistan, Honorable Emomali Rahmon, which was displayed at the entrance of the Palace of Culture.
The official part of the event commenced with the performance of the National Anthem of the Republic of Tajikistan. The district chairman, Gulzoda Zafar, warmly congratulated the audience on the historic and momentous 16th Session and President's Day, noting that it was precisely through the efforts and dedication of the Founder of Peace and National Unity — the Leader of the Nation, President Emomali Rahmon, and the steadfast will of the Tajik people that the 16th Session of the Supreme Council was held, creating the conditions to end the imposed civil war and strengthen peace and national stability.
The cultural program, featuring songs and musical performances praising patriotism, love for the homeland, and loyalty to the Great Leader of the Nation, concluded the event.
