Friendship and brotherhood, as well as cultural ties between the peoples and nations of different countries, are important factors that contribute to ensuring peace, security, and tranquility in the global community. In this context, the leadership of the state and government of the Republic of Tajikistan pays special attention to this issue and develops friendly relations with several countries, both close and distant.
The Tajik people are those who value peace and friendship. Our people always prioritize friendship because human happiness lies in friendship, unity, and mutual respect.
As the people's poet of Tajikistan, Hero of Tajikistan, Professor Mirzo Tursunzoda said:
"People find happiness in friendship,
Hostility brings people hard days."
Therefore, each of us should show love and affection towards one another in order to live a happy, pleasant, and prosperous life.
It is no coincidence that our great scientists and enlighteners have promoted and supported the idea of friendship since ancient times. For example, Hafez Shirazi said:
"Plant the tree of friendship, so it bears fruits of happiness for the soul,
Reject the seed of hostility, to avoid suffering."
Based on this, the poet believes that hostility, hatred, and animosity lead to nothing but misfortune. The only thing that brings peace and joy to the heart is friendship!
Today, the Tajik people have also made friendship and unity the motto and foundation of their lives. Each of us feels that the efforts of the Founder of Peace and National Unity, Leader of the Nation, President of the Republic of Tajikistan, the respected Emomali Rahmon, have created conditions for our country to follow the path of stable development.
Ensuring peace and tranquility strengthens friendship and prosperity between peoples. In the modern world, where the situation in the global community is becoming increasingly complex and confused, it is fortunate that in our beloved Tajikistan, the idea of National Unity has become an important and strengthening factor for our people.
Under the leadership of the President of the Republic of Tajikistan, Leader of the Nation, the Tajik people always strive to establish peace and friendship not only within the country but also in other states. The educated Tajik people always send messages of friendship to other peoples and nations. Tajikistan and the Tajik people have always been supporters of peace with the people of Kyrgyzstan.
It should be noted that to achieve peace and friendship, during the Great Patriotic War, all fraternal nations, including Tajiks, Kyrgyz, Russians, Kazakhs, Uzbeks, and others, participated in heavy and bloody battles, not sparing their lives for peace and friendship, as well as the freedom of their homeland. It is important to note that all these peoples lived as brothers in the Soviet Union.
For us, Tajiks, friendly, strong, and long-term relations with neighboring peoples are both a historical necessity and a need for our people.
The Tajik people have always been advocates of peace and make constant efforts to protect the territorial integrity of their independent homeland — the Republic of Tajikistan.
Tajikistan is a supporter of peace and national unity, has friendly relations with fraternal peoples, and considers life under a peaceful and calm sky the highest value.
All that has been said above demonstrates that peace is the foundation of our life. Therefore, we must contribute to strengthening the tree of peace and tranquility. We must always strive for reconciliation and unity. Let us make our homeland prosperous and beautiful, leaving a beautiful and cozy place for future generations. Let us not allow the tears of mothers to flow, nor the laughter of children to turn into crying.
The happiness and prosperity of a nation, its well-being, and success largely depend on cooperation and friendly relations with different countries.
It is friendship that brings happiness to people.
On March 12, 2025, the President of the Republic of Tajikistan, Leader of the Nation, the respected Emomali Rahmon, arrived in the Kyrgyz Republic on a state visit. The President of the Kyrgyz Republic, the respected Sadyr Japarov, welcomed the President of the Republic of Tajikistan with great honor and boundless love at the international airport in Bishkek.
During the visit, issues of strengthening bilateral cooperation and developing relations between Tajikistan and Kyrgyzstan were discussed. In particular, special attention was given to the signing of important agreements, including the Treaty on the State Border. This historic document is an important step towards strengthening stability and security in the region.
The state visit of the Leader of the Nation, the respected Emomali Rahmon, to Kyrgyzstan once again proved that the strong political will of the leaders of the two countries can find solutions to existing problems and create a solid foundation for future friendship and cooperation.
This step will benefit both nations and is of great significance for strengthening the stability and prosperity of the region.
