The Department of State Supervision of Preschool, General Secondary, and Additional Education Institutions of the Agency for Supervision in the Field of Education and Science under the President of the Republic of Tajikistan was established by the decree of the President of the Republic of Tajikistan dated June 18, 2020, No. 1557.
The Department of State Supervision for Primary Education, Secondary Vocational Education, and Adult Education is part of the management structure of the Agency for Supervision in the Sphere of Education and Science under the President of the Republic of Tajikistan. It implements the unified state supervision policy in primary education, secondary vocational education, and adult education institutions and reports to the Director of the Agency for Supervision in the Sphere of Education and Science under the President of the Republic of Tajikistan in its activities.
By the decision of the Government of the Republic of Tajikistan dated March 3, 2007, No. 105, the State Supervision Service in the Sphere of Education was established. The Service consisted of two departments: the Department of State Supervision Organization and Quality Evaluation of Education, and the Department of Attestation, Accreditation, and Licensing of Educational Institutions. The Department of Attestation, Accreditation, and Licensing of Educational Institutions consisted of three divisions, one of which was the Division of Attestation, Accreditation, and Licensing of Higher Professional Education Institutions, as well as institutions of professional education after higher education. This division had four employees (the head of the division, two senior specialists, and one leading specialist), who carried out their duties.
