On March 18 of the current year, a tree planting ceremony was held along the Dushanbe–Vahdat highway with the participation of high-level representatives and international partners.The event was attended by the Deputy Director of the Forestry Agency under the Government of the Republic of Tajikistan, Mr. Nazarzoda Ne’matullo, the Ambassador Extraordinary and Plenipotentiary of the Republic of Korea, Mr. John Song Shik, representatives of the Association of Ethnic Koreans — Victor Kim and Jin Hee Ja, members of KOICA, as well as staff of the Agency, employees of the State Institution Research Institute of Forestry, teachers and students of the Tajik Agrarian University, and local residents.The event was held within the framework of the project “Forest and Agroforestry Development to Combat Desertification and Improve People’s Well-being in Tajikistan,” contributing to the strengthening of cooperation and mutual understanding.During the ceremony, about 100 thuja saplings were planted in the area, enhancing the appearance of the roadside landscape.
