The Department of Forest Creation and Restoration and Nurseries is a structural unit of the central apparatus of the Agency, and its task is to organize work on the creation and restoration of forests on lands of the state forest fund and to carry out seedling cultivation in State Forest Nursery Institutions in the field of plant propagation.
The Department of Hunting and Hunting Grounds is a division of the central apparatus of the Forest Agency under the Government of the Republic of Tajikistan and implements state policy in the field of hunting and hunting management, protection and increase of wild animal and bird populations, as well as their effective use.
The Department of Finance, Accounting, and Planning of the Agency is part of the Agency's structure and regulates the accounting activities of the Agency. The department operates under the direction of the Agency's director and based on the Agency's Charter and employees' job descriptions, organizing its work accordingly.
The Department of Human Resources and Legal Support is one of the main and key structures of the central apparatus of the Agency, covering areas such as registration, document control and processing, human resources management, legal services, professional development, and forest legislation. The Department of Human Resources and Legal Support conducts a monthly analysis of the implementation of Decrees and Resolutions of the President of the Republic of Tajikistan, decisions and orders of the Government of the Republic of Tajikistan, the Executive Office of the President of the Republic of Tajikistan, letters and requests from ministries and departments, the Agency's work plan for the half-year, decisions of the Agency's Advisory Council, protocols, and other directives from the Director of the Agency, and provides written information to the Director of the Agency.
The Department of International Relations and Information of the Forestry Agency under the Government of the Republic of Tajikistan carries out activities to coordinate the Agency's cooperation with international organizations, foreign country representations, and UN Conventions in the field of forestry and forest protection.
The Department of State Forest Cadastre and Monitoring is a structural unit of the central apparatus of the Agency, aimed at obtaining reliable information about the location of the state forest fund lands, their protection and use, as well as regulating forest relations. State forest monitoring includes observation and assessment of the condition of forest management, as well as the development of recommendations for preventing and eliminating negative consequences in forest protection and restoration.
