Explanation and Discussion of the Message of the President of the Republic of Tajikistan at the Agency
On December 31, 2025, in Dushanbe, the State Agency for Energy Supervision under the President of the Republic of Tajikistan held a working meeting with the participation of the Agency’s leadership and staff to review and discuss the latest Message of the President of the Republic of Tajikistan, Esteemed Leader Emomali Rahmon, delivered to the Supreme Assembly (Majlisi Oli) on December 16, 2025, titled “On the Main Directions of Domestic and Foreign Policy of the Republic”.
The meeting was opened by Sorbon Kholmuhammadzoda, Director of the Agency, who noted that the President’s Message is an important political and strategic document. It defines the main directions for the future development of the state and society and sets specific tasks and priorities for all state structures, including the energy sector.
It was emphasized that this year’s Message highlighted the sustainable development of the energy sector, improving the efficiency of energy resource use, ensuring energy security, reducing technical and non-technical losses, strengthening control systems, and implementing energy-saving policies as priority areas.
The President’s Message also analyzed the current state of the sector, emphasized the need for continued structural reforms, modernization of energy infrastructure, and the introduction of modern technologies.
During the meeting, the Director of the Agency stressed that all employees are obliged to take the instructions and guidance of the President as an actionable program and contribute effectively and promptly to their implementation. It was particularly noted that full implementation of these directives would strengthen the country’s energy security, support sustainable economic development, and improve the well-being of the population.
