On November 24, 2024, the official delegation of Tajikistan, led by the First Deputy Prime Minister of Tajikistan, Khaliqzoda Hakim Hikmatullo, participated in the 28th World Investment Conference held in Riyadh, Saudi Arabia.
On the sidelines of the conference, the leadership of the Export Agency of the Government of the Republic of Tajikistan held talks with the leadership of several business entities from Saudi Arabia. During the discussions, the parties exchanged views on attracting investments for the establishment of logistics centers and the creation of joint ventures for processing agricultural products.
Additionally, as part of the event, the next session of the Tajikistan-Saudi Arabia Joint Commission on economic, trade, investment, technical, and cultural issues was held in Riyadh. On the sidelines of this session, a Memorandum of Understanding was signed between the Export Agency and the Saudi Export Development Committee with the aim of strengthening cooperation.
