Press Conference at the Export Agency under the Government of the Republic of Tajikistan
On February 7, 2025, under the leadership of the Director of the Export Agency and with the participation of a representative of the Government of the Republic of Tajikistan, the Deputy Directors, heads of structural divisions, and representatives of the media, a press conference was held at the Export Agency under the Government of the Republic of Tajikistan.
During the press conference, detailed information was provided on the results of the Export Agency's activities for 2024.
It was reported that during the reporting period, the country's export volume, excluding precious metals, amounted to $1,600.2 million, which is $292.4 million or 22.4% more compared to 2023 ($1,307.6 million excluding precious metals).
The export of industrial products, excluding precious and semi-precious metals, totaled $1,543.5 million, reflecting an increase of $284.0 million or 22.5% compared to 2023 ($1,259.5 million).
Additionally, agricultural products worth $56.7 million were exported, showing an increase of $8.6 million or 17.9% compared to 2023.
In the total volume of agricultural exports:
- Dried fruits – 90.1 thousand tons worth $31.7 million
- Fresh fruits – 40.2 thousand tons worth $13.2 million
- Vegetables – 30.9 thousand tons worth $3.5 million
- Other types of agricultural products – 6.7 thousand tons worth $8.3 million
Following the presentation, a Q&A session was held between media representatives and the leadership of the Export Agency, where key aspects of the agency’s activities were discussed.
