On February 6, 2025, the Director of the Export Agency under the Government of the Republic of Tajikistan, Bakhriddin Sirojiddinzoda, held a meeting with representatives of the World Bank Group.
During the meeting, the parties discussed cooperation within the framework of the Tajikistan Development and Employment Report, conducted by the World Bank Group. It was noted that the role of the World Bank Group in implementing new projects and initiatives in various sectors of Tajikistan’s economy is highly valued.
Additionally, the World Bank Group’s support and assistance in strengthening export-oriented production, enhancing the competitiveness of export products, and implementing Tajikistan’s priority export development projects will contribute to the growth of the sector.
As part of the meeting, the parties also discussed cooperation in establishing agrologistics centers in different regions of the country and improving exporters’ knowledge and skills in processing, storage, and preservation of export products.
