On May 8, 2026, in Beijing, a meeting was held between the delegation of the Working Group of the Republic of Tajikistan, led by the Minister of Economic Development and Trade Abdurahmonzoda Abdurahmon, the Chairman of the State Committee on Investment and State Property Management Rahimzoda Sulton, the Head of the Strategic Planning and Reform Department of the Executive Office of the President of the Republic of Tajikistan Khurshed Ismoilzoda, and the Deputy Director of the Agency for export under the Government of the Republic of Tajikistan Jamolzoda Abdugaffor, and the Chairman of the China Council for the Promotion of International Trade, Ren Hongbin.
During the meeting, the parties first discussed issues related to preparations for upcoming events.
The meeting also covered strengthening economic and trade cooperation, expanding business ties, and establishing joint ventures.
At the conclusion of the meeting, the parties expressed their readiness to continue constructive cooperation and implement joint projects aimed at developing economic and trade relations between the Republic of Tajikistan and the People’s Republic of China.
