On February 16, 2026, a regular meeting in videoconference format was held between the Minister of Economic Development and Trade of the Republic of Tajikistan, Abdurahmonzoda A. S. and the Minister of Economic Development of the Russian Federation, Reshetnikov M. G.
During the meeting, the parties reviewed the progress of the instructions and directives of the two leaders, issued during the state visit of the President of the Russian Federation to the Republic of Tajikistan, and focused on increasing the export of grapes, early onions, cabbage, and other agricultural products from the Republic of Tajikistan to the Russian Federation.
Following the meeting, the parties emphasized that the implementation of the planned measures will contribute to ensuring sustainable supplies, improving product quality, and expanding the range of goods exported by the Republic of Tajikistan.
