On December 15, 2025 virtual meeting was held between the Director of the Export Agency under the Government of the Republic of Tajikistan Sirodjiddinzoda Bakhriddin and the Minister of Economic Development of the Russian Federation Maxim Gennadievich Reshetnikov.
At the meeting, the parties discussed in detail the progress of the implementation of the instructions of the two leaders during the state visit of the President of the Russian Federation to the Republic of Tajikistan. Particular attention was paid to increasing the export of grapes and other agricultural products from the Republic of Tajikistan to the Russian Federation.
In this context, the meeting participants discussed the current status of the agreements presented following the visit of the management of the State Enterprise "Tajagropromexport" – the Export Agency to the Russian Federation.
It was noted, that the signing of cooperation agreements on grape exports between the state-owned enterprise Tadzhgropromexport (the Export Agency) and major Russian retailers Grand Trade, Auchan-Russia, and X5 Retail Group is in the final stages and is expected to be signed by the end of December 2025.
