On December 11, 2025, the award ceremony for the winners of the National Contest “Best Exporter of Tajikistan” was held in the hall of the Hyatt Regency Dushanbe Hotel.
This contest, now in its fourth year, is organized by the Export Agency under the Government of the Republic of Tajikistan with the direct support of the Government of Tajikistan and in cooperation with development partners. More than 200 participants attended the event, including representatives of the Government of Tajikistan, sectoral ministries and agencies, heads and representatives of the diplomatic corps accredited in Tajikistan, development partners, domestic and foreign companies and enterprises, as well as media representatives.
The purpose of the National Contest “Best Exporter of Tajikistan” is to accurately identify reliable exporters and assess their export potential, to promote export growth, and to strengthen production oriented toward foreign markets.
During the event, the Director of the Export Agency emphasized that the intensification of economic sanctions between major powers, restrictions on the export of certain essential goods by some countries, ongoing developments in the global economy, and external factors that have disrupted existing logistics chains in the exchange of goods have created challenges for implementing sectoral strategies and programs in the field of export.
Nevertheless, today we witness that, under the initiative of the Founder of Peace and National Unity – Leader of the Nation, President of the Republic of Tajikistan, His Excellency Emomali Rahmon, priority attention is consistently given in all high-level meetings and negotiations to finding alternative transport and logistics routes, including access to seaports, the establishment of wholesale distribution centers to promote and position domestic export-oriented products abroad, and thereby increasing the volume of foreign trade turnover.
To enhance Tajikistan’s status as a reliable partner in foreign economic activity, the Export Agency has established the Unified Export Portal of Tajikistan as an electronic trading platform. The portal hosts a database of domestic export products, a registry of exporters, tools for placing orders and offers for product delivery. It also ensures the registration of export contracts and monitoring of their implementation. At the event, the portal’s activities were presented to participants.
With the activation of the digital export portal, domestic producers and exporters gain opportunities to promote their products on integrated trade platforms.
For participation in the contest, 82 domestic entities, regardless of ownership form, engaged in the export of goods, works, and services submitted applications. As a result, 41 best exporters were selected in various nominations, and the winners were awarded prizes and diplomas of the National Contest “Best Exporter of Tajikistan.”
