The Agency for Export under the Government of the Republic of Tajikistan, in line with the strategic economic policy of the Founder of Peace and National Unity – Leader of the Nation, President of the Republic of Tajikistan, His Excellency Emomali Rahmon, is implementing necessary measures to expand bilateral trade with foreign countries both near and far.
Based on the directives of the country’s top leadership, and with the aim of enhancing the competitiveness of key export products in the global market and discovering new sales opportunities—especially considering the abundance of early-season produce in Tajikistan—the volume of agricultural exports is being increased. In this context, on September 20–21, 2025, an exhibition-sale of agricultural products and folk crafts from the Khatlon region was held in Almaty, Republic of Kazakhstan. A total of 312 tons of agricultural products were presented for sale, covering 22 types of goods including grapes, apples, lemons, peaches, pears, pumpkins, corn, dried fruits, pistachios, honey, watermelons, melons, cabbage, cauliflower, beets, tomatoes, cucumbers, onions, potatoes, carrots, bell peppers, hot peppers, and other varieties.
The primary goal of this initiative is to fulfill the instructions of the Head of State regarding the expansion of agricultural exports to foreign markets.
