On August 12, 2025 a meeting was held between the Director of the Agency for Export under the Government of the Republic of Tajikistan esteemed Sirodzhiddinzoda Bahriddin and the Trade Representative of the Russian Federation in the Republic of Tajikistan esteemed Rybas Alexander Leonidovich.
At the beginning of the meeting, Sirodzhiddinzoda Bahriddin sincerely congratulated the newly appointed Trade Representative of the Russian Federation in the Republic of Tajikistan on his appointment to a responsible position and wished him success and achievements in his work.
The parties also discussed the current state and prospects of cooperation between Tajikistan and Russia in the export sector, and exchanged views on ways to expand trade relations.
The meeting also discussed the issue of creating a joint export logistics center in the Khatlon region, and it was proposed to involve interested companies and banks of the Russian Federation in the construction and operation of which.
The Trade Representative of the Russian Federation in the Republic of Tajikistan expressed its readiness to assist in obtaining financing for the implementation of this initiative.
It was noted that the Republic of Tajikistan has a wide potential for export of early and seasonal agricultural products and industrial goods, and in this direction is interested in cooperation with large trade centers of the Russian Federation.
