Press Conference at the Agency for export under the Government of the Republic of Tajikistan
On July 28, 2025 the Agency for export under the Government of the Republic of Tajikistan held a press conference with the participation of the agency’s leadership, a representative of the Executive Office of President of the Republic of Tajikistan, heads of structural units, and members of the media.
During the press conference, specific information was presented regarding the agency’s performance in the first half of 2025.
It was reported that foreign trade turnover grew significantly during the reporting period and amounted to USD 4,731.1 million, which is USD 316.8 million or 7.2% more compared to the same period last year.
The export of domestic products, excluding precious metals and stones, totaled USD 953.2 million, an increase of USD 255.2 million or 36.6% compared to the first half of the previous year.
The export of industrial products, excluding precious metals and stones, reached USD 919.3 million, which is USD 250.1 million or 37.4% more than in the same period of 2024.
In addition, during the first half of 2025, 90.3 thousand tons of agricultural products worth USD 33.9 million were exported, an increase of 13.2 thousand tons or USD 5.0 million compared to the same period last year.
The structure of agricultural exports consisted mainly of dried fruits — USD 18.2 million or 53.7%, fresh fruits — USD 7.9 million or 23.2%, vegetables — USD 4.7 million or 13.8%, and other agricultural products — USD 3.1 million or 9.2%.
At the end of the event, a Q&A session was held between media representatives and the leadership of the Agency for export regarding the agency’s areas of activity.
