On July 4 of this year, a meeting was held at the Agency for Export under the Government of the Republic of Tajikistan with the participation of the agency's leadership, representatives of relevant ministries and departments, and sector experts. During the meeting, the draft Law of the Republic of Tajikistan "On Export Support" was reviewed.
It was noted that the draft law establishes the legal foundations for the implementation of export support, defines general principles, components, and measures of state support for the export of domestic goods, works, and services, as well as the authority of the Republic of Tajikistan in the field of export support, and aims to increase the competitiveness of domestic products in foreign markets.
The adoption of this law is expected to contribute to the promotion of exports, comprehensive incentives for the export of final products, participation in regional value chains, increasing the investment attractiveness of export-oriented sectors, enhancing the international status of the Republic of Tajikistan as a reliable partner in foreign economic relations, discovering new markets and strengthening positions in traditional ones, increasing the level of confidence of exporters and investors in the current export policy, supporting strategic initiatives for enhancing export capacity, advancing targeted and organized marketing policies, improving transport and logistics infrastructure, and more.
