At the beginning of the event, Chairman of Shamsiddin Shohin District Gulзода Zaфар Shamsuddin opened the ceremony and congratulated healthcare workers on their professional holiday. In particular, he noted that over the years of state independence, the healthcare sector of the district has developed significantly and achieved notable successes.
He also highlighted the special attention paid by the Government of the country, including by the Founder of Peace and National Unity — Leader of the Nation, President of the Republic of Tajikistan, His Excellency Emomali Rahmon, to the healthcare sector. He emphasized that healthcare is currently one of the important areas of Tajikistan’s state policy.
During the continuation of the ceremony, in a festive atmosphere, certificates of appreciation, certificates of honor, and commemorative gifts were presented by the Executive Bodies of State Power of Khatlon Region and Shamsiddin Shohin District to a number of dedicated medical workers of the district and veterans of the healthcare sector.
