In Shamsiddin Shohin District, construction and development activities have expanded in preparation for the 35th anniversary of the State Independence of the Republic of Tajikistan, with a number of important social and service facilities being constructed and commissioned. During the working visit, Prime Minister of the country Qohir Rasulzoda and Chairman of Khatlon Region Davlatali Said first inspected the progress of construction works at the district’s Central Stadium.
The facility consists of four blocks and has a seating capacity of 6,000. The total area of the land plot is 54,900 square meters. During the visit, specific instructions were given to ensure the high-quality and timely completion of the construction works.
As part of the continued visit, the “Mother and Child Services Complex” Hospital was also visited. Construction of the facility began in 2022 and is currently nearing completion. The progress of construction of a preschool institution in Navobod village was also reviewed. The facility is designed for 100 children and has been built on an area of 3,600 square meters. Next to the institution, a cold-storage facility with a capacity to store 500 tons of agricultural products is being constructed on the initiative of a local entrepreneur.
In the district center, the Prime Minister and the Chairman of Khatlon Region also inspected the construction of the administrative building of the Committee for Housing and Communal Services.
During the inspection, it was emphasized that the constructed facilities should be used effectively and contribute to improving the quality of services and creating appropriate conditions for employees and, in general, for all residents.
The implementation of such projects contributes to strengthening the district’s social infrastructure, creating favorable conditions for the population, and further developing the sectors of education, healthcare, sports, and services.
