On May 22, 2026, within the framework of the action plan of the Executive Body of State Authority of Shamsiddin Shohin District and the implementation of the state youth policy, a grand festive event dedicated to the Youth Day of Tajikistan was held.
At the beginning, a peaceful march with the broad participation of young people started from the military commissariat and continued to the venue of the celebration — the district cultural palace. The event was also attended by heads and employees of organizations and institutions, recipients of the Presidential Scholarship, recipients of the scholarships of the Chairman of Khatlon Region and the district, winners of academic olympiads, athletes, and active youth of the district.
During his speech, the First Deputy Chairman of the district, Abdullozoda Jalolkhon Gadoi, congratulated the participants and all young people of the district on their special day.
It was noted that, under the wise policy of the Founder of Peace and National Unity — Leader of the Nation, President of the Republic of Tajikistan, Honorable Emomali Rahmon, the Government of Tajikistan during the years of independence has shown special attention and care toward young people and has created all the necessary conditions for their comprehensive development.
For this purpose, several programs and strategies have been adopted to strengthen patriotism and national identity among youth and to educate them in the spirit of self-awareness and national consciousness. The aim of these initiatives is to create favorable conditions and effective mechanisms for educating young people in the spirit of patriotism, enlightenment, self-awareness, humanism, pride, and respect for national values, as well as strengthening the patriotic spirit and national identity of the country’s youth.
In today’s modern world, paying attention to youth issues and utilizing their intellectual and physical potential can be considered one of the essential conditions for achieving sustainable development of the state and society.
Today, the role of young people in political, social, cultural, and economic life is clearly visible, and they remain at the forefront of all constructive and creative processes.
Afterwards, a number of active young people of the district who have contributed to the implementation of the state youth policy were awarded Certificates of Appreciation from the Executive Body of State Authority of Shamsiddin Shohin District.
