Within the framework of the Action Plan of the Executive Body of State Power of the Shamsiddin Shohin district, a promotional campaign titled "Let’s Dress in Tajik Style" (Tojikona mepushem) was launched on April 2, 2026.
The objectives of the event include:
Honoring national traditions;
Strengthening feelings of patriotism and national identity;
Educating young girls and enhancing the aesthetic sense of women;
Promoting national attire and avoiding foreign cultural influences;
Showcasing traditional fabrics such as atlas, adras, chakan, alocha, and other national garments.
On this day, young women walked through the district in national costumes, presenting the beauty of Tajik traditional clothing to the citizens.
It is worth noting that national clothing is a fundamental pillar of a nation's culture and a legacy from ancestors that has not lost its beauty over the centuries and will continue to endure. In recent years, the State Leadership has increased its focus on reviving folk crafts and promoting national dress.
