Today, April 1, 2026, in order to implement the Decree of the President of the Republic of Tajikistan dated February 28, 2026, No. 1143, "On the discharge to the reserve of military personnel who have completed their prescribed term of military service and the next call-up of citizens of the Republic of Tajikistan born in 1999–2008 for military service," a "Draftsman Day" event and a ceremony to send off young men to military service were held at the parade ground of Military Unit 0342 of the Border Troops of the State Committee for National Security of the Republic of Tajikistan.
In a solemn atmosphere, accompanied by the National Anthem and a cultural program, the youth of the district voluntarily mobilized for military service.
On the occasion of the recruits' departure, a ceremonial event was held at the venue with the participation of:
The Chairman of the district, Honorable Gulzoda Zafar Shamsuddin;
Deputy Chairmen of the district;
Heads of departments and sectors of the Chairman’s office and structural units of the local executive body of state power;
Heads of law enforcement agencies;
Soldiers of the military unit, new recruits, and their parents.
During his speech, the District Chairman, Gulzoda Zafar Shamsuddin, addressed the parents of the recruits, expressing his deep gratitude and appreciation for raising such brave and courageous young men.
On the same day, 20 recruits who had completed driver training courses were solemnly presented with their driving licenses.
The event concluded with a cultural program performed by the district's artists.
