On December 1, the world observes World AIDS Day to raise awareness about Human Immunodeficiency Virus (HIV/AIDS). This day has been celebrated annually since 1988, with the aim of prevention and educating the population about the disease.
In this regard, on December 1, 2025, in the Shamsiddin Shohin district, at the initiative of the District HIV Center, a public awareness campaign and quiz were held in the streets, markets, and educational institutions of the district under the theme “Health of the Nation – Wealth of the State”, dedicated to World AIDS Day.
