The Minister of Agriculture of the Republic of Tajikistan, His Excellency Qurbon Hakimzoda, sincerely congratulated all participants and, through them, all citizens of the country on the occasion of the International Navruz holiday and the glorious spring season marking the beginning of farming activities. It was emphasized that the civilized Tajik people have preserved Navruz for thousands of years as one of their national traditions, passing it down from generation to generation, ensuring its customs have reached our time without distortion.
The historical and cultural essence of this festival represents the happiness and triumph of humanity, guiding people toward mutual understanding, peaceful coexistence, kindness and constructive action, love and care for one another, and respect for nature and its blessings. It was also noted that it is through the continuous initiatives of the Founder of Peace and National Unity—the Leader of the Nation, President of the Republic of Tajikistan, His Excellency Emomali Rahmon—that Navruz has gained international recognition and is celebrated with particular grandeur.
Indeed, Navruz reflects the unity of human life with nature and the inseparable connection between labor and creative work with the changing seasons. It embodies a rational approach to the phenomena of the natural world surrounding humanity. The concept of Navruz encompasses rich universal ideas, including a compassionate attitude toward land, air, water, fire, and other sacred elements of nature and society.
To entertain the participants, a cultural program dedicated to the Navruz celebration was also presented.
