Dear compatriots and respected agricultural producers!
I sincerely congratulate you on the arrival of the New Year 2026.
Another year of aspirations, stability, and achievements has come to an end and entered the history of the Tajik people. With thousands of good hopes and wishes, we welcome the New Year 2026, considering its beginning as blessed and auspicious.
As is customary, every society, at the beginning of a new year, looks back on the past period, analyzes important events, and draws conclusions about the legacy the outgoing year has left in the history of the nation.
Looking at the path taken by the people of our independent state, it becomes evident that 2025 was a year of successful implementation of the policy of construction and development, noble initiatives, and strengthening of national consciousness.
Our beloved and independent Tajikistan confidently moved forward in achieving its strategic goals. Under the leadership of the Founder of Peace and National Unity – Leader of the Nation, President of the Republic of Tajikistan, respected Emomali Rahmon, the policy of development was consistently implemented, and the socio-economic development of the country reached a new level.
It should be especially noted that all agricultural producers of the republic made a significant contribution to ensuring food security and developing the agricultural sector.
It should be recalled that in his annual Address to the Majlisi Oli of the Republic of Tajikistan, the Leader of the Nation paid special attention to agriculture and expressed gratitude for the growth of production, which demonstrates the significant contribution and dedicated work of industry workers.
It was noted that despite climate change, including high air temperatures, in 2025, thanks to the conscientious work of agricultural producers, the growth rate of agriculture reached 8.5%, and a stable consumer market was ensured.
Also, the level of food security increased from 60% in 2015 to 85% in 2025.
Thus, agricultural producers, especially under difficult weather conditions of the current year, including severe dust storms, worked diligently and supplied the market with necessary products.
Therefore, I express my gratitude to all agricultural producers, farmers, industry specialists, and citizens who, through honest labor and rational use of water and land resources, produce food products.
This high appreciation and sincere words of the Leader of the Nation oblige us to work even harder, to be more responsible in fulfilling our duties, to efficiently use every piece of fertile land in Tajikistan, to increase production of all types of agricultural goods, to contribute to the food basket of the population, and to develop the export of environmentally friendly products.
Entering the year 2026, we, as always, set new goals, continue development and improvement works, and hope to accomplish them on time and with honor.
With these good wishes, I extend my sincere greetings and wish every citizen of our country and all agricultural producers strong health, long life, prosperity, continuous success, as well as peace, stability, and strong independence for our beloved homeland.
