On May 23 of the current year, a meeting was held at the Ministry of Agriculture of the Republic of Tajikistan between the Deputy Minister of Agriculture of the Republic of Tajikistan, Nazarzoda Mashokir Fozil, and a delegation from the Kyrgyz Republic led by Takirov Umrat Kanatbekovich — Director of the State Institution “Center for Development and Promotion of Exports ‘Kyrgyz Export’” under the Ministry of Economy and Trade of the Kyrgyz Republic.
It is worth noting that representatives of the relevant departments and divisions, heads of subordinate institutions of the ministry in the field of animal husbandry, as well as representatives of the joint ventures “Marmari,” “Akoma” JSC, and the joint venture “Dushanbe Dairy Plant” also participated in the meeting.
During the meeting, issues related to strengthening cooperation in animal husbandry, including veterinary services, import and export of leather and wool, eggs, dairy and meat products, feed for livestock and poultry, as well as general matters concerning the import and export of agricultural products, were discussed.
Overall, the meeting was held in an atmosphere of mutual understanding and aimed at developing mutually beneficial cooperation between Tajikistan and Kyrgyzstan in the fields of animal husbandry and crop production.
