On September 5, 2026, a ceremonial meeting dedicated to the national holiday marking the 35th anniversary of the State Independence of the Republic of Tajikistan was held in the assembly hall of the central office of the Local Development Committee under the President of the Republic of Tajikistan.
The event was attended by labor veterans Adolat Rahmonova and Khairinisso Yusufi.
At the beginning of the event, Chairman of the Local Development Committee under the President of the Republic of Tajikistan, Kamoliddin Muminzod, welcomed the guests and spoke about the significance of the 35th anniversary of State Independence, the achievements made during the years of independence, and the activities of the Local Development Committee.
Then, labor veteran Adolat Rahmonova spoke about the historic 16th Session of the Supreme Council of the Republic of Tajikistan, highlighting its historical significance and its role in strengthening national statehood.
During the event, labor veteran Khairinisso Yusufi also delivered a speech, speaking about the achievements made during the years of State Independence and the importance of national values.
At the conclusion of the meeting, it was emphasized that State Independence is a great historical achievement of the people of Tajikistan, and that its preservation and strengthening, as well as contributing to the country's further development, are the responsibility of every citizen.
The ceremonial meeting was held in a festive atmosphere. At the end of the event, Certificates of Merit and Letters of Appreciation were presented to the veterans and employees of the Committee.
