August 7, 2026, a meeting of the Republican Working Group with community leaders and activists of Mastchoh District was held at the hall of the Executive Body of State Power of Mastchoh District.
The meeting was attended by Kamoliddin Muminzod, Chairman of the Committee for Local Development under the President of the Republic of Tajikistan; Zufar Ismoilzoda, Deputy Chairman of Sughd Region; and Shermuhammad Nodiri, First Deputy Chairman of Mastchoh District.
The meeting was opened by Zufar Ismoilzoda, Deputy Chairman of Sughd Region. He explained the purpose and significance of the meeting and highlighted the important tasks envisaged in connection with the implementation of the Decree of the President of the Republic of Tajikistan dated March 17, 2026, No. AP-996, as well as preparations for the celebration of the 35th anniversary of the State Independence of the Republic of Tajikistan.
Shermuhammad Nodiri, First Deputy Chairman of Mastchoh District, then provided detailed information on the implementation of the Decree of the President of the Republic of Tajikistan dated March 17, 2026, No. AP-996, “On Declaring 2026 the Year of Expanding Development and Construction Works and Strengthening National Self-Knowledge and Self-Awareness,” as well as on the measures being taken to ensure comprehensive preparations for the celebration of the 35th anniversary of the State Independence of the Republic of Tajikistan.
It was noted that improvement and development activities, the construction of social and industrial facilities, the repair and modernization of roads, landscaping and greening, and infrastructure improvement are continuing steadily throughout the district.
The meeting continued with remarks by Kamoliddin Muminzod, Chairman of the Committee for Local Development under the President of the Republic of Tajikistan, who spoke about the content of the Presidential Decree and the tasks arising from it. He highlighted ongoing development and construction activities, landscaping and greening efforts, and measures to strengthen national self-awareness and self-knowledge among the population.
He positively assessed the activities of the local authorities in carrying out improvement and development works and gave the responsible officials specific instructions and recommendations to further expand development activities, make effective use of available opportunities, and welcome the 35th anniversary of the State Independence of the Republic of Tajikistan with significant achievements.
At the conclusion of the meeting, Kamoliddin Muminzod, Chairman of the Committee for Local Development, summarized the results and called on the district’s community leaders and activists to demonstrate greater responsibility, ensure the high-quality implementation of the instructions of the leadership of the state and the Government of the Republic of Tajikistan, and actively contribute to development and improvement activities.
