On August 3, 2026, in accordance with the Action Plan approved by the Order of the President of the Republic of Tajikistan dated March 17, 2026 (No. AP-996), a meeting was held at the hall of the Executive Body of State Authority of Aini District. The meeting was chaired by Mr. Kamoliddin Muminzoda, Chairman of the Committee for Local Development under the President of the Republic of Tajikistan and Deputy Head of the National Working Group, and attended by heads of organizations and institutions, community representatives, and officials from various sectors.
At the beginning of the meeting, Mr. Zufar Murtakhonzoda, Deputy Chairman of Sughd Region, emphasized that the Presidential Order, issued within the framework of declaring 2026 as the “Year of Expanding Improvement and Construction Activities and Strengthening National Identity and Self-Awareness,” is of great importance for further promoting development initiatives, enhancing civic awareness, strengthening patriotism, and expanding improvement works throughout the country's cities and districts.
The Chairman of Aini District, Mr. Ravshan Rahimzoda, then presented a report on the implementation of improvement and construction activities in the district. He noted that the residents of the district, demonstrating a strong sense of patriotism and supporting the constructive policies of the Government of the Republic of Tajikistan, are making an active contribution to achieving the country's development goals.
It was reported that, in preparation for the celebration of the 35th Anniversary of the State Independence of the Republic of Tajikistan, the construction and renovation of 595 facilities of various purposes had initially been planned in the district. Owing to the rapid pace of construction and new initiatives undertaken by entrepreneurs and local residents, an additional 130 facilities were included in the plan, increasing the total number to 725.
According to the Chairman of the district, implementation of the planned activities has already reached 115 percent. Most of the anniversary facilities have been commissioned, while the remaining projects are progressing rapidly and are expected to be completed before the Independence Day celebrations.
In his closing remarks, Mr. Kamoliddin Muminzoda, Chairman of the Committee for Local Development under the President of the Republic of Tajikistan, explained the key provisions of Presidential Order No. AP-996 and called on those responsible to make effective use of all available opportunities to expand improvement and development activities, improve the quality of public services, develop social infrastructure, and further strengthen national identity and civic awareness.
At the conclusion of the meeting, it was emphasized that the effective implementation of the instructions and guidance of the Founder of Peace and National Unity, Leader of the Nation, President of the Republic of Tajikistan, His Excellency Emomali Rahmon, together with the active participation of state authorities, entrepreneurs, and local residents in improvement and development activities, is of key importance for the sustainable development of Aini District, improving the living standards of the population, and ensuring the country's continued progress.
It should be noted that, in order to study and analyze the progress of improvement and development activities, as well as efforts to strengthen national identity and self-awareness, representatives of the Committee, led by its Chairman, Mr. Kamoliddin Muminzoda, are conducting a working visit to several cities and districts of Sughd Region from August 3 to August 9, 2026.
