Today, in accordance with the Decree of the President of the Republic of Tajikistan, His Excellency Emomali Rahmon, dated February 25, 2026 (No. AP-982), Sattor Bobojon Boboqul was appointed as the First Deputy Chairman of the Committee for Local Development under the President of the Republic of Tajikistan.
This appointment was made within the framework of a balanced personnel policy and the strengthening of effective public administration, with the aim of enhancing priority areas of local development, improving local governance, and ensuring coordination in the implementation of national strategic programs.
The newly appointed official was introduced to the Committee’s staff by the Assistant to the President of the Republic of Tajikistan for Economic Affairs, Mr. Ne’matullozoda Hikmatullo.
During the meeting, it was emphasized that the appointment of Sattor Bobojon Boboqul provides a solid foundation for increasing the efficiency of the Committee’s activities, promoting sustainable local development, and implementing strategic socio-economic development programs of the country.
It was also noted that the new leadership of the Committee, drawing on its extensive experience and professional expertise, will effectively and consistently contribute to the implementation of local development projects, infrastructure development, improvement of social services, and the creation of favorable living conditions for citizens.
