On February 20, 2026, an internal departmental round table on the topic “Issues of Protecting the Native Language in the Context of Globalization and Cultural Integration” was held at the National Center for Legislation under the President of the Republic of Tajikistan in order to implement Clause 2 of the Plan of Internal Departmental Activities under the State Language Development Program for 2020–2030, approved by the Director of the Center on December 24, 2020.
The event was opened by the Deputy Director of the Center, Candidate of Legal Sciences, Professor Abdullozoda Parviz Sa’dullo, who spoke about the role and importance of celebrating the “International Mother Language Day.”
During the continuation of the round table, the Center’s employees delivered presentations on the following topics: the contribution of the Founder of Peace and National Unity – Leader of the Nation, President of the Republic of Tajikistan, Honorable Emomali Rahmon, to the development of the state language; current issues of the development of native languages in the context of globalization and the role of international institutions in this direction; the objectives of the State Language Development Program for 2020–2030; and the role of the Messages of the President of the Republic of Tajikistan in the development of the national language.
In conclusion, the event ended with discussions among the Center’s employees on the issues raised during the round table.
