On May 28, 2026, representatives of the General Prosecutor’s Office of the Republic of Tajikistan, Abulhaizoda S. Sh. and Sharifzoda A., held a meeting with the employees of the National Center for Legislation under the President of the Republic of Tajikistan dedicated to the President’s Address “On the Main Directions of the Domestic and Foreign Policy of the Republic” dated December 16, 2025, as well as the “Strategy for Countering Extremism and Terrorism in the Republic of Tajikistan for the Period up to 2040.”
The meeting was opened by the Director of the National Center for Legislation under the President of the Republic of Tajikistan, Saidzoda I. H., who then gave the floor to the representatives of the General Prosecutor’s Office.
Abulkhay S. Sh., Senior Prosecutor of the Unified Information Center for the Prevention of Extremism, Terrorism and Cybercrime of the General Prosecutor’s Office of the Republic of Tajikistan, spoke about the importance of the President’s Address “On the Main Directions of the Domestic and Foreign Policy of the Republic” delivered to the Majlisi Oli of the Republic of Tajikistan on December 16, 2025, as well as its content. He particularly highlighted the country’s achievements in recent years and the prospects for the development of political, economic, social, and cultural life in the coming years.
He emphasized that the timely and high-quality implementation of the instructions and directives of the President of the Republic of Tajikistan, His Excellency Emomali Rahmon, regarding the country’s domestic and foreign policy is a key factor in the future development of the state, ensuring peace and stability, and strengthening the foundations of independence. He also called on the employees of the Center to serve with dedication and respect national values.
Sharifzoda A., Senior Prosecutor of the Unified Information Center for the Prevention of Extremism, Terrorism and Cybercrime of the General Prosecutor’s Office of the Republic of Tajikistan, in his speech addressed the causes and conditions contributing to the emergence of extremism and terrorism, methods of preventing them, identifying and bringing perpetrators to justice, as well as the threats and risks they pose to the state and society. He called on the employees of the Center to ensure the timely and effective implementation of the “Strategy for Countering Extremism and Terrorism in the Republic of Tajikistan for the Period up to 2040.”
The employees of the Center also delivered speeches and shared their views on the issues discussed.
At the conclusion of the meeting, the Director of the National Center for Legislation under the President of the Republic of Tajikistan, Saidzoda I. H., expressed his views on the issues considered, particularly emphasizing the significance of the President’s Address “On the Main Directions of the Domestic and Foreign Policy of the Republic.”
He noted that the President’s Address to the Majlisi Oli of the Republic of Tajikistan represents a comprehensive and far-reaching development program for the country, which will contribute to the prosperity of the state, social stability, further progress, and the preservation of the achievements of the independence period.
In this regard, he called on employees to engage in productive work, strengthen national awareness, and oppose various negative phenomena, including terrorism and extremism.
