On May 11, 2026, the 35th Regional Conference of the Food and Agriculture Organization of the United Nations (FAO) for Europe and Central Asia was held at the Somon Palace in Dushanbe, with the leadership of the Forestry Agency under the Government of the Republic of Tajikistan in attendance.
The international event was attended by delegations and representatives from 54 countries, as well as heads of prominent international institutions, who discussed important issues related to food security, sustainable agricultural development, and the strengthening of regional cooperation.
