In order to implement the provisions of the “Forestry Sector Development Program for 2022–2026,” with the participation of the Director of the Forestry Agency under the Government of the Republic of Tajikistan, Yusuzoda Abdujabbor Ghayratshoh, and employees of the Agency’s affiliated organizations and institutions, a large-scale tree-planting campaign was carried out in the Khojabulbulon area of the Rudaki forestry zone.
Within the framework of this initiative, more than 30,000 seedlings of forest-forming species were planted across 30 hectares, including rosehip and almond.
This initiative is regarded as a significant step toward implementing state policy on the protection and development of forest resources, improving the environmental situation, and enriching the national forest fund. The establishment of new forest plantations contributes to strengthening environmental security, mitigating the effects of climate change, and ensuring the sustainable development of the sector.
