Within the framework of the Forestry Sector Development Program for 2022–2026, biotechnical measures were carried out at the State Forestry Institution named after Homidjon Sarmusakov of Asht District in order to prevent losses among wildlife and birds during the winter season. During these activities, to ensure sufficient food supply for animals and birds, a total of more than 2.5 tons of hay, barley, rice, wheat, and salt were placed and distributed in designated animal crossing areas and bird habitats.
