On December 24, 2025, the Deputy Director of the Forestry Agency under the Government of the Republic of Tajikistan, Ne’matullo Ibrohim Nazarzoda, conducted a site visit along the Dushanbe–Vahdat highway to review the progress of tree planting activities and the preparation of land plots for planting evergreen, ornamental, and shade trees.
During the visit, the condition of land preparation, the quality of the seedlings, and the implementation of agrotechnical measures were examined. It was noted that, taking advantage of favorable weather conditions, especially sunny days, the Forestry Agency is gradually carrying out tree planting activities and undertaking necessary measures to ensure the timely completion of planting evergreen, ornamental, and shade trees.
It was reported that all seedlings are of high quality, and their planting is carried out in full compliance with agrotechnical requirements, including the preparation of planting pits, proper selection of species, timely irrigation, and subsequent maintenance. These measures are aimed at ensuring healthy growth and successful adaptation of the seedlings to local conditions.
It was emphasized that tree planting activities in these areas are being implemented within the framework of the State Greening Program of the Republic of Tajikistan for the period up to 2040, the main objective of which is to improve the country’s environmental conditions, expand green areas, enhance the appearance of highways, and create a favorable living environment for the population.
