In order to implement paragraph 13 of the Action Plan for the “Forestry Development Program for 2022–2026,” approved by Resolution No. 149 of the Government of the Republic of Tajikistan dated March 31, 2022, annual activities for cultivating fruit and forest tree species have been launched.
A small nursery covering 0.15 hectares has been established, where seeds of walnut, peach, rosehip, and apricot were sown.
This work was carried out in the Kolkhoz district of the State Forestry Institution of Pаnjаkent, and similar initiatives to create small nurseries are ongoing in other regions.
