On November 4, 2025, representatives of the Forestry Agency under the Government of the Republic of Tajikistan met with the Honorary Consul General of the Republic of Tajikistan in Belgium and the CEO of Treemakers, Mr. Klaus Van Dyck.
The purpose of this meeting was to present the Tree Trace program, which envisages the creation of 10 tree nurseries in various regions of Tajikistan. This step was taken in order to implement the initiative of the nation's leader, President of the Republic of Tajikistan, His Excellency Emomali Rahmon, to transform Tajikistan into a “Green Country” by 2037 and plant 2 billion trees as part of the “State Program for Greening the Republic of Tajikistan for the Period until 2040.”
