A seminar was held as part of the “Sustainable Landscape Management Project in Tajikistan” by the public organization “Peshsaf” on October 21-24 in the city of Penjikent.
More than 35 employees of state forestry agencies in the cities and districts of Penjikent, Aini, and Kohistoni Mastchokh, as well as project staff, took part in the training sessions. Training sessions on the developed topics were conducted for foresters, forest protection engineers, foresters, forest rangers, and other employees of the aforementioned forestry enterprises with the aim of improving their knowledge.
It should be noted that the training sessions were conducted as part of the implementation of the relevant sections of industry programs, including the “Program for the Development of Paulownia Cultivation in the Republic of Tajikistan for 2024-2028,” and covered topics such as methods for growing Paulownia seedlings, selecting land, and establishing Paulownia plantations, among others.
