Today, 26 June 2026, a solemn meeting was held at the Execution Service dedicated to the Day of National Unity, as well as to the adoption by the United Nations General Assembly of a new international initiative of the Founder of Peace and National Unity — the Leader of the Nation, President of the Republic of Tajikistan, esteemed Emomali Rahmon, entitled “International Decade for Strengthening Peace for Future Generations (2027–2036).”
The event was attended by the Head of the Execution Service, State Counsellor of Justice of the 3rd class Akhtam Abdullozoda, the Chairman of the Writers’ Union of Tajikistan, People’s Poet of Tajikistan Nizom Qosim, representatives of the scientific and creative intelligentsia, as well as a wide range of service employees.
During the meeting, the historical significance of national unity as a fundamental factor in the development of Tajik statehood was highlighted, along with the outstanding contribution of the Founder of Peace and National Unity — the Leader of the Nation — to the achievement of peace, strengthening of national unity, establishment of an independent state, and enhancement of the international standing of the Republic of Tajikistan.
It was especially emphasized that the adoption by the United Nations General Assembly on 25 June 2026 of a special resolution on the new international initiative of the Republic of Tajikistan, “International Decade for Strengthening Peace for Future Generations (2027–2036),” represents another significant achievement of the country’s foreign policy and demonstrates international recognition of the constructive role of the Republic of Tajikistan and the Leader of the Nation in strengthening and maintaining sustainable peace at the global level.
It was also noted that national unity, as a unique achievement of the period of state independence, is the result of the political wisdom, foresight, and tireless efforts of the Founder of Peace and National Unity — the Leader of the Nation. It represents a great historical and spiritual value of the Tajik people, inseparably linked with his name.
Participants emphasized that, thanks to the visionary, peace-oriented, and constructive policy of the Head of State, the people of Tajikistan today live under a peaceful sky, in conditions of stability and harmony, confidently celebrating this significant national holiday in an atmosphere of patriotism, creative work, strengthening of national unity, and new achievements. In this regard, the preservation and further strengthening of national unity, peace, socio-political stability, state independence, and respect for fundamental values of statehood are considered a sacred duty of every citizen of the Republic of Tajikistan.
In conclusion, the exceptional importance of peace, national unity, mutual understanding, and high civic responsibility for strengthening statehood and further development of independent Tajikistan was once again emphasized. A number of employees of the Execution Service were awarded special ranks and other departmental honors for conscientious service, significant contribution to official duties, and on the occasion of the Day of National Unity.
