Meeting of the Advisory Board of the Agency on the Results of Activities in 2025 and Tasks for 2026
On January 10, 2026, in Dushanbe, under the leadership of Sorbon Kholmuhammadzoda, Director of the State Agency for Energy Supervision under the President of the Republic of Tajikistan, a meeting of the Advisory Board of the Agency was held to summarize the results of activities in 2025 and outline the tasks for 2026.
The meeting was attended by representatives from the Executive Office of the President of the Republic of Tajikistan, deputies of the directors of JSC “Barki Tojik” and JSC “Electric Distribution Networks”, distribution managers of JSC “Electric Distribution Networks”, directors of the Sales and Marketing Department of JSC “Pamir Energy”, chief engineers of the “Electricity and Heating Center 1” and “Center 2” of JSC “Barki Tojik”, directors of heating network enterprises in Dushanbe, the director of FJSC “STB” in Dushanbe, and heads of central, city, and regional divisions, as well as the “Training and Electrotechnical Laboratory Center” units.
The meeting was opened by Sorbon Kholmuhammadzoda.
Then, Deputy Director Mehrab Muminzoda presented a report on the results of the Agency’s work in 2025 and the objectives for 2026.
During the report, the leadership of the energy production, transmission, and supply companies answered questions and addressed remarks.
It was noted that in enterprises and institutions, continuous awareness campaigns are conducted through mass media and official websites to promote the efficient and economical use of electricity, prevent losses, and combat theft.
Following the reports of the heads of departments and divisions, the Director of the Agency, Sorbon Kholmuhammadzoda, gave instructions to eliminate shortcomings, improve the quality of supervisory work, ensure proper personnel policy, and set specific deadlines for addressing identified issues.
